Kantsevoy, Dr. Kazuki Sumiyama and Dr. Alessandro Repici have joined the Medical Advisory Board of Lumendi, Ltd. Dr. Sergey V. Kantsevoy is a global authority in interventional endoscopy and endoscopic ultrasound who holds medical patents on procedures and treatment systems in endoscopic procedures. He is Director of The
Center for Therapeutic Endoscopy, a centralized treatment hub for digestive health and liver diseases that provides screening services and treatment for illnesses affecting the colon, esophagus, stomach, liver, bile ducts, pancreas and intestines. The Center is part of The Melissa L. Posner Institute for Digestive Health & Liver Disease at Mercy Medical Center in Baltimore, Maryland. Board Certified in Gastroenterology and Hepatology, Dr. Kantsevoy pioneers and provides innovative treatments. A lecturer and speaker at medical conferences worldwide, Dr. Kantsevoy has authored numerous peer-reviewed scientific articles, co-authored several books on digestive disorders, and authored more than 20 book chapters.

Alessandro Repici, M.D., is the Director of the Digestive Endoscopy Department at the Instituto Clinico Humanitas and Professor of Gastroenterology at the Humanitas University, School of Medicine in Milano, at which approximately 15,000 endoscopic procedures are performed annually, making it the largest endoscopy unit in Italy. In his research activities, Prof. Repici is involved in more than 50 studies, including Phase II and Phase III studies for U.S. FDA and EMA (European Medicines Agency) approval for new molecules and new devices for diagnostic and operative endoscopy. He is an Expert Member of the National Institute of Health of the Italian Government and a Reviewer for the European Commission for medical projects. Prof. Repici also isthe founder of the website Webendoscopy and organizer of one of the largest European Live Endoscopy Courses.

Kazuki Sumiyama, M.D., Ph.D., is Professor of Department of Endoscopy at Jikei University School of Medicine in Tokyo, where he earned his medical degree in 1988 after completing his residency at Jikei University Hospital
in 2000. Prof. Sumiyama went on to earn his Ph.D. from Jikei University Graduate School of Medicine in 2003.

Since then, Prof. Sumiyama has focused his basic and clinical research projects in the gastrointestinal endoscopy field as a primary investigator at Jikei University. A former post-doctoral fellow at Mayo ClinicCollege of Medicine (2005-07), Prof. Sumiyama achieved international recognition in developmental research for novel endoscopic therapies, including Confocal Laser Endomicroscopy Submucosal Endoscopy, NOTES andendoscopic full thickness resection. Prof. Sumiyama has been awarded numerous academic honors and has published more than 200 papers and 300 abstracts.
