48th Annual Texas Society for Gastroenterology and Endoscopy Meeting

TARGET AUDIENCE

The target audience is gastroenterologists, endoscopists, GI nurses, technicians, physician assistants and others who treat patients for gastrointestinal conditions.

ETHICS

The presentation on September 16 fulfills 1 hour of the ethics and/or professional responsibility hour required for Texas licensure.

BUSINESS MEETING

Saturday’s business luncheon will feature a brief TSGE business meeting. The society will also present the Marcel Patterson – Robert Nelson award to one of its most esteemed members.

CONTINUING MEDICAL EDUCATION

This activity has been planned and implemented in accordance with the accreditation requirements and policies of the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) through the joint providership of the Texas Medical Association (TMA) and the Texas Society for Gastroenterology and Endoscopy. The Texas Medical Association is accredited by the ACCME to provide continuing medical education for physicians. The Texas Medical Association designates this live activity for a maximum of 13.5 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits ™. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity. TSGE will be offering Maintenance of Certification ( MOC) for this conference. CONTINUING NURSING EDUCATION

This activity has been submitted to Montana Nurses Association for approval to award contact hours. Montana Nurses Association is accredited with distinction as an approver of continuing nursing education by the

American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation. Please note there will be no contact hours awarded for Friday.
