SUMMARY:13th Annual Long Island Live Endoscopy Course Frontiers of Endoscopic Surgery
DESCRIPTION:This Thursday marks NYU Langone Hospital’s 13th annual Long Island Live (LIL) event. \nLumendi is proud to be an exhibiting sponsor of this event\, on Thursday\, August 5\, 2021\, from 7:45 AM – 8:00 PM.\n  \nOVERVIEW In 2021\, the main focus will be cutting-edge 3rd space endosurgical procedures such ESD\, POEM\, POEF\, STER\, GPOEM/ZPOEM and true NOTES procedures such as EFTR\, peritoneoscopy and extraluminal surgery. Western approaches to POEM\, ESD and EFTR will be demonstrated in cases including the Anti-reflux POEM pioneered by our group. The live cases will be supplemented by lectures spanning the spectrum of endoscopic surgery. Currently\, the course will be held virtually\, with live case transmissions from NYU Langone Hospital – Long Island in Mineola\, NY as well as the faculty’s institutions in Tokyo\, Japan and Shanghai\, China.
