WEO has joined forces with the Brazilian Society of Digestive Endoscopy (SOBED) to host the second edition of this unique event.  The Interamerican Society of Digestive Endoscopy (SIED) has also joined as collaborating partner holding the 24th Pan American Congress of Digestive Endoscopy within ENDO 2020. \nAt ENDO 2020\, you will have the opportunity to attend lectures and debates addressing relevant local and global topics related to gastroenterology\, hepatology\, and oncology from the endoscopist’s point of view. A highlight of the ENDO 2020 program will be the live endoscopy demonstration sessions over 3 full days of the congress broadcast to the venue from Hyderabad\, India and Sao Paulo and Rio de Janeiro\, Brazil. In addition\, you will be able to join comprehensive hands-on training sessions that will cover basic and advanced procedures during two consecutive days. SUMMARY:Innovations in Endoscopic Submucosal Dissection Workshop
DESCRIPTION:This hands-on ESD workshop is designed to address the need for exposure to the techniques and advantages of ESD through lecture\, analysis of taped ESD and EMR procedures and extended one-on-one interaction with internationally renowned faculty. \nThe University of Florida has organized a two day Endoscopic Submucosal Dissection (ESD) training workshop that is designed to facilitate the introduction and expansion of ESD in the US. The goal is for the attendees to benefit from the pioneering Japanese expertise (There will be 3 Japanese faculty) along with incorporating the Western experience (there will be 1 European and 5 US faculty). \nThis workshop will be heavily focused on hands-on training and has some unique features which we believe will make it a great opportunity to acquire or expand ESD skills. DESCRIPTION:The Cedars-Sinai International Endoscopy Symposium will be held in cooperation with leaders of multiple major endoscopy centers in North America\, Europe and Asia. For the 26th year\, this signature course will offer an intensive and comprehensive review of pancreatic and biliary endoscopy for the benefit of gastroenterologists\, gastroenterology fellows\, and gastroenterology nurses and technicians. The 2019 symposium will feature focused educational tracks as well as an optional one-day Thursday program on advanced luminal endoscopy\, with live procedure demonstrations in the afternoon. On Friday morning\,a special session on GI cancer has been added to provide participants with the most relevant information in gastric\, esophageal\, pancreaticobiliary and colorectal cancers. \nInvited expert faculty will perform multiple live luminal endoscopy\, EUS and ERCP procedures to demonstrate techniques and technology for the benefit of participants watching the live feed in the Cedars-Sinai auditorium. SUMMARY:New York Society of Gastroenterology and Endoscopy (NYSGE)
DESCRIPTION:Under the direction of expert faculty\, this course is designed to improve endoscopic practice through live case presentations\, video and hands-on demonstrations\, educational lectures including audience interaction and questions\, and hands-on training using animal tissue models. \nThe course goals are to help participants improve their ability to accurately diagnose and effectively treat the spectrum of gastrointestinal diseases and disorders\, enhance quality and safety in all practice settings\, recognize trends in interventional endoscopic and surgical procedures\, apply state-of-the-art technology in a cost-effective way\, embrace advances in healthcare delivery\, payment\, and information sharing; and to foster an evidence-based approach to endoscopic decision-making for commonly encountered and controversial problems in gastroenterology. \nGastrointestinal endoscopy continues to experience rapid expansion of knowledge and technological innovation\, both of which are impacting the diagnosis and treatment of gastrointestinal disorders. Additionally\, advances in therapeutic endoscopy are challenging or entirely replacing certain endoscopic techniques that previously were purely diagnostic. Gastroenterologists must understand and effectively apply current and emerging diagnostic and treatment options while maximizing quality and safety. In view of these developments\, the need for superior continuing education becomes increasingly important. This course will enable participants to attain and apply cutting-edge information and evolving technological innovations to elevate practice levels and enhance patient care and treatment outcomes.

DESCRIPTION:This is a unique and innovative 1 1/2 day master class and hands on workshop on advanced procedures in interventional endoscopy. Interventional endoscopy has traditionally included ercp and eus. DESCRIPTION:Please visit us at booth #41 of our Distribution Partner AseptInMed booth.\n\n\nVideo-Digest is a medical training meeting which is based on endoscopy demonstrations broadcast live from a center selected on precise specifications and strict ethical rules. During endoscopy demonstration sessions broadcast live\, operators selected on their expertise and pedagogical qualities will carry out diagnostic and interventional endoscopy and will present all the technological innovations of endoscopy and new endotherapy equipment. The selection of cases and acts presented will be guided by the wishes you have expressed in the recent online survey to address your daily concerns. This year\, \nThese sessions will be facilitated by moderators\, and last year you will be able to ask questions through the conference mobile app and interact with the operators during the demonstrations. These demonstrations are essential for digestive endoscopy training because they teach the direct control of the gesture\, they show without selection bias the decisions taken by the operator and they do not hinder the difficulties or even the possible failures. They allow to better appreciate the degree of difficulty of a gesture and the importance of the choice of the techniques or the material and its perfect knowledge before using it. Each of the sessions will be followed by an expert review of the state of the art on the theme of the session. A return to the live event on Friday afternoon will return to the different endoscopic gestures made and engage in a discussion with experts and operators. The anatomo-clinical confrontations that we introduced last year will be renewed this year because they were unanimously appreciated. \nOther sessions organized during Video-Digest will allow you to tackle specific problems of endoscopy: the SFED evening of reflection devoted to current topics and a prospective debate on the future of the profession\, the video capsule evening\, the symposium devoted to inflammatory bowel diseases\, meetings with experts. At the same time\, various endocenters and symposiums will address\, in formats that emphasize interactivity\, more specific issues or the technical aspects of new endoscopy materials. In 2019\, we renew our partnership with GIFE\, which will organize its main annual meeting. This joint work highlights the specific role of endoscopy nurses and perfectly reflects the collaboration and complementarity that exists between our professions. We will renew this year\, the young hepatogastroenterologists space that has been a great success and we will offer sessions of “hands-on training” for the oldest. \nThe SNFGE Intensive Course will begin on Friday with workshops on cholelithiasis of the young subject and on hemorrhoidal pathologies. The new niche of these workshops that were so far scheduled in the morning is now the afternoon from 3 pm. At the end of the afternoon\, 2 interactive clinical cases will be presented\, the first will be acute hepatitis and the second and first episode of acute ileitis. The FMC-HGE workshop will focus on the latest developments in GERD. Saturday morning will be devoted to new digestive oncology and the afternoon to cysts of the liver and pancreas. \nThe participation recorded last year confirms the attractiveness of this congress\, since the 2018 edition\, brought together nearly 1\,200 doctors\, 180 interns and assistants and 300 nurses of the GIFE. The evaluations of the participants were very good or excellent\, both on the scientific content and the organization. The only downside that was formulated to us was the insufficient capacity of reception of the blue amphitheater which led us to opt for the big amphitheater this year. Our goal in 2019 is to do better both in terms of assistance and the quality of the reception and educational content. \nWe remind you that for the entire congress a preferential rate is reserved for members of the SFED and the SNFGE as well as interns and assistant heads of clinics. As in previous editions\, you will have the opportunity to validate the cognitive part of the CPD by attending certain sessions of the congress. SUMMARY:Amsterdam Live Endoscopy
DESCRIPTION:Amsterdam Live Endoscopy has become one of the premier live-endoscopy meetings in Europe with around 500 participants each year. We focus on demonstrating innovative techniques as well as teaching the best way to perform standard and advanced interventions in gastrointestinal endoscopy. Our faculty is selected not only on their technical skills but also on their educational skills. The program consists of 8 sessions of live endoscopy alternated with Clinical Update Sessions as well as brief presentations on recent European guidelines. DESCRIPTION:The slogan for the Congress will be “Endoscopy: A keen insight into nature of a disease”. As endocopists we understand our aim is to provide effective and minimally invasive treatments to our patients by using endoscopy to understand the nature of disease. I have worked closely with President Dr. Hisao Tajiri and members of the program committee to ensure the congress is stimulating and fulfilling for all who attend. \nTwo Special Sessions\, two Special Lectures\, sixteen Educational Lectures\, JGES-ASGE joint symposiums and a JGES-ESGE joint symposiums are planned as part of our program. In the JGES Core Sessions\, we are planning to include a number of sessions to cover the wide range of interests in the expanding endoscopic world. English speaking sessions will be provided every day. Also\, there are hands-on sessions\, which we hope will be especially useful for newly qualified doctors. Furthermore\, we are pleased to introduce two new exciting sessions for this Congress. The first session is entitled “The international live demonstration course”. This course will run for the whole of the third day of the Congress. We will broadcast live demonstrations conducted by the highly respected international and domestic doctors from Showa University Koto Toyosu Hospital. The second new session is entitled “97JGES Best Case Award”. In this session\, we are planning to invite newly qualified active doctors to share videos which are considered to make a valuable contribution to the development of the endoscopic discipline. A panel of judges will select what they consider to be the best video. SUMMARY:EUS-ENDO International Live Course
DESCRIPTION:On September 27-29\, 2018 in Marseille for the second EUS-ENDO meeting. EUS-ENDO will offer you one day of live transmission from Paoli-Calmettes Institute to the SILO in the new center of Marseille. Worldwide experts on EUS and Endoscopy\, they will give lectures and will demonstrate the last developments of these technologies (ERCP\, ESD\, Therapeutic EUS\, etc….) during the live demonstrations. New scopes will be shown as new accessories. The main goal of this meeting will be to demonstrate the complementarity of EUS and ERCP for bilio-pancreatic diseases\, to show also new procedures as radiofrequency ablation of biliopancreatic cancers\, cholangio-pancreatoscopy\, confocal laser endomicrsocopy\, etc… \nThe second day will be interactive between the participants and the experts\, 3 sessions of oral communications will be organized in which participants will debate with the experts. Abstracts and Posters presented during EUS-ENDO will be published in Endoscopic Ultrasound review. Debates around Hot Topics as Pancreatic cystic tumor management\, EUS-FNA or FNB\, Barrett’s esophagus will be organized during this second meeting. \nThe third day will be dedicated to hands-on\, 6 stations will be available for ERCP\, EUS-FNA\, T.EUS ( Pseudo cyst drainage) which permit to use a different kind of accessories as Axios\, Spaxus\, Nagy stents and many other EUS materials.

SUMMARY:International Advanced Endoscopy Masterclass (AEM)
DESCRIPTION:The London for our International AEM (Advanced Endoscopy Masterclass) is a comprehensive\, major educational event with the participation of a stellar faculty of highly acclaimed international and national speakers to showcase the state-of-the-art of advanced endoscopy. \nAs witnessed through the quality of last year’s inaugural and the universally positive feedback received from our >300 delegates\, 50-strong faculty and sponsors\, the International AEM London has already proven itself to be an unmissable event. \nThe AEM consists of 2 full days of didactic/interactive lectures and video sessions covering all key topics relating to the frontline and advanced endoscopy\, followed by a full day of hands-on training (ESD\, ERCP\, and EUS). Dedicated symposia (focussing on neuroendocrine tumors (NETs)\, hepatology and inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) and their interface with endoscopy) shall also be held. \nIn collaboration with Jichi Medical University (JMU)\, Japan\, the International AEM London shall host the world’s first and only ESD hands-on training course dedicated to the revolutionary ‘pocket creation method’ (PCM) as developed and taught by Prof Hironori Yamamoto\, our key guest. The award-winning home of the International AEM shall remain that of the Royal Society of Medicine at 1 Wimpole Street\, in the heart of central London. \nThe International AEM London is endorsed by key societies including the European Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy (ESGE)\, the Japan Gastroenterological Endoscopy Society (JGES)\, the British Society of Gastroenterology (BSG)\, the Spanish Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy (SEED)\, the World Endoscopy Organisation (WEO) and the British Association for Study of the Liver (BASL). The international AEM London also carries 24 CPD/CME category 1 external credits as awarded by the Royal College of Physicians (RCP).
