United European Gastroenterology 2018 Annual Meeting will be held on October 21st-24th in Vienna, Austria.
UEG member societies represent over 22,000 specialists, working across medicine, surgery, pediatrics, GI oncology and endoscopy. UEG is the most comprehensive organization of its kind in the world, and a unique platform for collaboration and the exchange of knowledge.
With over 13,000 expected attendees, the aim of UEG Week is to attract clinicians and basic scientists from all over the world to discuss advances in Liver and GI medicine and continue to provide state-of-the-art education and updates. World-renowned experts and excellent faculty will gather to present the newest research, as well as state of-the art clinical practice. Code of Conduct of healthcare professionals and scientific organizations
The UEG is dedicated to achieving its mission in an open, transparent and democratic manner according to the highest standards of ethics. Together with other members of the Alliance for Biomedical Research in Europe, UEG has approved and adopted the Code of Conduct of healthcare professionals and scientific organizations. This code sets out core principles for healthcare professional and scientific organizations to maintain and enhance professional independence, objectivity, and scientific integrity. It guides all persons serving UEG in the development and implementation of UEG’s activities. UEG volunteers and senior employees sign a Declaration of Interest (DoI) to disclose any possible conflicts between their duties towards UEG and their private interests.
